Hello my friend.
I hope all is ok for you.
Will you test this plane? if yes please make us a report.
I think I will get one too.
Best regards.
Philippe
Hello Philippe. I'm fine thank you.

I am waiting for a next report of Mythos written by a Japanese dealer who is an intimate of Seba. His first report is already expressed as I showed a link that was put on the top of this thread. He will report information of this plane again in detail in the near future. I am going to inform you soon.

The retail price is announced 69,000 Japanese yen (include 5% VAT). About 660 EUR.
So for Us will be around 865.00

Just judging by the photo with the (human) model, the airframe looks bigger than two meter! She is either VERY petite, or she has been inserted into the picture. Beautiful airplane! I'm interested!

The photo was made with a wide-angle lens which distorts the perspective.

Compare the tail volume to the volume of the forward part. Of the airplane, I mean.

Ah, I can see what you mean now... the Gestalt Law of Proximity... The model does have very nice spinners

Guys

The weight figure of 4400 grams must include batteries, otherwise it could not make the 5000 gram limit. My Wind 110 weighs less than 4400grams with an 8S 4500 pack. The stats for the reccomended Hacker A60-6XS V2 are 6S 45C 5000 battery and a 120HV C/C controller giving 2220 watts at 100 amps on an APC 20x11 prop. This means I would have to buy a new motor / controller. I would just change over my 8S setup if I decide to buy this model, the Hacker A60-5S gives 2380 watts at 80 amps on 8S on a 20x10 APC.

Hi John think you may be right the 8s set seems to be the right way to go for this size plane, will be nice to know how much its going to be As the EF Vanquish 2m is now £599 at west london models and that looks good as iv had one out of the box

regards Gordon

I agree the weight must include battery if not it will never make weight. Thunder powers pro-lites 6S-5000mah are 708 grams, almost every other battery will be heavier.

From the Sebart web site, its cost in Europe is 599 Euros.
The mistery about the real weight remains.
Seba and Selva are going to use it in the next San Marino contest.

Ok so at 599 Euros it will probably be around £500 in the UK which is just about the price of a Vanquish 2M or a Monolog 2M. I have a spare 2M drivetrain sitting about doing nothing and was considering a wooden model such as the Vanquish or Monolog, now we something else in the mix. My Axi 5330 / 18 is around 170 grams heavier than the reccomended Hacker A60 6XS and needs 10S battery so I reckon it would be pretty close to 5000grams. Would this be a bit heavy for the wing area? An accurate weight would be usefull.

Hi
Does anyone know if Sebart will discontinue the Wind 110 in favour of the Mythos?

In the latest 2012 Sebart Catalog the Wind 110 is no longer listed.
Also, the Mythos weight has been corrected - 3.65Kg without batterys.
Another interesting point - Sebart shows the Mythos 6S set-up as a recomendation for the 140 class Su29's !

It seems that full size MYTHOS is available later this year or early next year.
SebArt has this plan.

Hey Chris,

I was wondering if there was any particular reason that would prohibit the design from accepting a Hacker A-60-7S-V2 and a 10S setup? It would be a bit over kill on power, but the size isn't that far off of a 2 meter bird, as already mentioned above?

PM if you want.

Thanks,

bholsten

I was looking at the A60-5s and run it on 8S. The other motors are 4 oz. heavier than the ultralight but it looks like you have a lot of room to move the batteries.

I too was looking at 8S options (same batts as my Wind 110).
The A60-5S-V2 is 4oz (115g) heavier & also 10mm longer than the 6XS (motor mounting looks quite tight??). Batteries would also be 100-200g heavier than the designed 6S battery.
A Scorpion 4035-250 might work on 8S, 30g lighter than the 6XS

On 10S using say the A60-7S V2 & typical 4900-5000mA F3A batteries then the all-up weight will aproach 5Kg - I see F3A UL have some new 5S 4500mA batteries - 1120g for a 10S pack that would bring all up weight to about 4.9Kg which is still over 400g heavier than the designed weight - Obviously I don't know how this will affect flight performance !

@Bill
Once these arrive next week I can get a good look inside and get some measurements as to what will fit. This plane is very close to a "std" 2 meter plane size so it will be interesting to see what will fit in the nose.

Hi,

Is it any info avaliable when the bigger 2 x 2 M Mythos will be available? Will it be this year or is next year most likely?
I have noticed they use contra rotation props on the 2 x 2 M Mythos.

The Mythos Pro 2x2m will be available in Europe in September. I have made reservation for one from www.f3alorenz.de
