Default New Extra Light Mejzlik Props

Hi Guys,

This may be old news but Mejzlik are now making some new "Extra Light" electric props. The weights look comparable to the Falcon V2 Chinese props.

Has anyone tried the extra light Mejzlik props?

The pricing is actually better than the Chinese Falcon V2 series.

Cheers,
Jason.

Clint and myself have been using the 21x13 Mejzlik EL's for about 6 months now. When the 22x12 came out about 3 months ago we brought in a couple for our Pletti Advance's. At the moment I'm still flying the 22x12 and Clint has gone back to the 21x13 on our Citrin's.

The props are absolute works of art. As stiff as the 80g versions and fly the same. I have brought in 3 of each size and they have all been within less than 2g of each other in weight.

Even the slightest touch is enough to shred the tip so there is no room for error but I'm sure that is the same with other Extra Lights.

Hey guys our season is over till April but I can't wait to start running the new propsMejzlick offers.
We have found sales to be brisk on the new props and we have just about every size in stock.
Side by side comparison to the Falcons is about equal in quality. Mejzlik has some very interesting sizes available that Falcon doesn't have.

The weights of the L version props is drastic vs the non L versions similar to the Falcon V2 vs:V1.
We are expecting PT to have a line of Light CF props soon. PT makes beautiful props also.

As Grant posted, the extra light versions work great. I found no noticeable performance difference between the standard and extra light versions. Same feel in the air and same battery consumption. The extra light version is just half the weight, but if you clip it on landing it tends to self destruct, while the traditional carbon prop could usually be tendered to with some sand paper (for a minor clip that just damages the tip a little).

Thanks for the info guys. Looks like they are a quality option.

Mike, do you know if anyone does a light weight cooling spinner for the Spark Dynamic? I see Marquet does one for the Spark EVO. The diameter for the Dynamic is 64mm.

Regards,
Jason.

I have run the 21x14 EL for a while. 38 grams. These have a blade shape that is different than APC or Falcon (Falcon appear identical to APC absent measurement). There is less jumpiness in the acceleration with the Mezlik EL and it does not seem to have the ineffciency I find with most CF props relative to the APC. Less than average in terms of noise on a geared motor. This prop is a true 14 pitch; the APC 21x14 is actually a 13 pitch. I have not measured the pitch on the Falcon, but it looks more like the APC than the Mezlik.
