The Fantasista 110 is electric only as confirmed by BJ Park. We may bring a few in but you are looking at over $1K for a 110 sized plane.

Yes, it really looks nice.
It looks like he made several modifications from his original prototype. I notice that the vertical fin and rudder have changed (he added more area to the rudder and made the vertical fin taller), it looks like the wings are different (perhaps smaller/less area) and I think the wings have moved forward slightly.

I like the Orange and white on the bottom. The silver might take some dimension away at 150-170 meters and make it look funny in reference to the lines of the airframe. I personally would ask for the silver to be painted orange. Might add some definition to the outline of the airframe,..That's just me.
It still looks kool!

RE: BJCraft BISIDE
Plane looks great. Definitely agree on the silver. Maybe red would be better or something else. At least to me anyway. Definitely next plane on my list for purchase.

RE: BJCraft BISIDE
Yea,..red would work good too. I have been eye balling this plane and waiting for it's release. I have some other irons in the fire at the moment. I doubt we will see one at the NATS this year, who knows.
I am going back to my old ways "if I can't fly one, I ain't buying one"

We are epecting these by the end of the week.
The first 3 we have coming in are priced slightly higher due to the extra frieht costs to get some air frieghted here versus the slow boat from China approach.
We have them up for sale now.

Thanks and see you at the Mationals. Mike Mueller

Hi Doug,
Would you mind sharing your views on the double (triple) taper wing on this and the Episode.
I'd be interested to hear as I'm sure would others.

The big problem I see with these wing designs is keeping them stiff enough to retain their shape, and especially at the wingtip, ensuring you don't wind up with any twist, both statically (as built), and aerodynamically (under load). The static form is easy enough to verify, but aerodynamic, not so much.
Please note, I'm NOT suggesting the BJ Craft airplanes are having any aerodynamic twisting issues.

RE: BJCraft BISIDE
Hi Doug,
Thanks - interesting !!
The twisting under load thing is also interesting and is an issue for a lot of these F3A bipes.
There is very little section taper in a lot of these and they twist very easily.
I have been modifying the strut mounts on mine ; 1. to set the tips better and 2. to give more hold on the set.
I think there is more that can be done with strut design in this regard.
