Default PLETTY 30-10 Advance

Anyone out there have a Pletty 30-10 Advance they would consider off loading? I just went on line to order one and they are out of stock on F3A Unlimited again. I get my new plane Friday and it is already set up for a 30-10 Advance. I would greatly appreciate any assistance, so I don't have to wait until who knows when to get one. No disrespect intended toward F3A Unlimited,...just "sold out" everytime I decide to buy one.

Thanks in advance'

I would try to get in touch with Chris or Mike Mueller. They might be able to give you an idea when the next batch is coming in. I know they sell fast.

That's the obvious thing to do. I am looking for one right now and the reason for the shout out.

Thanks for the advice..

Bill,

I know Etienne at Icare had some recently, not sure how many he still has but that is another option as well if Chris wont get some for a bit.

Unfortunately the motors are only shipped out in small batches no matter how many we have on order so it's sometimes a long wait between shipments on them. No ETA on the next shipment yet.

Bill you must not have looked recently because we had them in stock for a few months. We just ran out this week.
We have a large order placed and we are waiting.
Pletty is a small company and their products are in high demand and for good reason.
We have Evo's in stock. Thanks for at least thinking about us.

Hey Chris,

I know that from our past conversations and the reason why I am on the hunt now. I want to be flying the plane before Green-Sea. I should have ordered it last week, but I was not able to do so, being in the desert.

Thanks

Bill

Mike,

I always brouse the F3A site when possible. I am aware of the prior availability of the motor on the website. I know they were in stock two weeks ago. I was financially unable to purchase one at the time, saving money for the plane first. I understand it's a limited production product, but I would like to get the "near ready" to fly Nuance (already had a ADVANCE in it) in the air as soon as possible.

Again,..I'm not being critical of F3A Unlimited at all, just trying to locate one now, used or new, does not matter. BTW,....I started, owned and operated two sucessful business for over 8 years in the electronics industry and being an owner is a thankless position.

Thank's

Bill

Hey Chad,

I am looking on ICARE RC now. The 30-10 Advance is high lighted in yellow in the product line description. Does that mean it's out of stock?

Thanks'

Hi Bill,

I have no idea, I just know of a fellow that got a motor from recently. You may have to send them an email or call.

Well,...if I can't find one by 12 noon on Monday the 1st. I will go with door number two,...The Hacker Q80-14XS.
I think, I can adapt that to fit where the "ADVANCE" use to be mounted with very little effort. I will send an email or call on Monday.

Thanks for the assistance Chad,...

We have them. FWIW they too are in high demand and short supply. Seems like the Hacker Q80 14X and the Pletty Advance are about equally liked.

The Hacker correct?
Mike, do you see any unforseen problems converting using the existing wooden nose mount? I know the bolt pattern is
different. Anything extra I would need other than the nose mount for the Hacker?

I purchased the Hacker Q80-14xs today and the X-bracket from F3A Unlimited. Thank you all for your help/quest in locating a Pletty Advance.

That's fine,.nothing personal. I'll keep them in mind for future consideration. I have a tight line to keep to have it done and flying by next week. Contest at the end of April.

Just FYI, ICare is not asian. They are based on Canada and Etienne would be very shocked to hear he is Asian I've done a fair bit of business with Icare over the years. ALways been reliable and fair. I found email the best method for communication.

The person I talked to on the phone several times was Asian; I assumed he was the owner. Who knows

By the way you can be asian and live in canada eh as long as you claim to like hockey and beer
