Hi all,

Many of you may notice Covenant already. Trought this year we have been working on updates and already we are taking orders on updated version of Covenant. (new Wing design and small upgrades) Attached you can see the final design of model. We already flew this season with prototype. Model is manufactured by HUI YANG in quality typical for all his models. Designed by Lukáš Pintér, 4 - time Slovak national champion in F3A.

I remember when this plane was first released, but I don't recall ever seeing it listed on the Hui Yang website.
I did find pictures again last night online; it looks like the wing profile on the leading edge has been changed.
It's a very nice looking plane.

Yes, we have changed the wing design and couple of other details. Now the model is again available and soon will be released by HUI YANG website as well.

Any update on the new Jeti Contra Drive that is mentioned on the website?

About Contra. Not yet, I have flow the production version for one season, Gernot Bruckmann as well, and couple of other guys too. Good results, but motor was still not released officially by JETI.

Maiden flight is done, very happy with performance in combination with Hacker Q80 - 11 PSD senstrol version with 3 - Blade prop from RS ( Stefan Kaiser edition ) Despite the heaviest version of q80 - flight weight is 4997g with Hacker 5100mah. Check out updated web lmp-aircraft for more info

Do you find any differences flying between the Contra or outrunner?

I found the model more calm, Q80 -11 PSD is very powerfull compare to contradrive I used to fly.. and flying with Senstrol is as well a different cup of tea. I like that it is really true to position of your throttle stick regards to power as well to braking effect. Motor is driven by a real sine wave. (By this control the motor can be operated with more power and has a higher efficiency at the same time with less power loss and heat generation.) Thats what HACKER says and I have to agree. So yes I find it different compare to flying with contra drive. Especially no need for gear maintance

How is the down line speed compared to the contra setup?

Q80 -11 PSD senstrol in combination with RS 3-Blade prop is very effective in terms of braking. It is comparable to contra I have to say, but it all depends on your flying style. Some can fly very nice with constant speed other will by flying different with same set up.

Well, after all the best combo is with Contra drive.

Finally some action is going on here in Slovakia. With first contest of this season comes the first success. First place in Slovakia national championship.
