Thanks Jason
I`ve had a few request about the size and spec of the airplane
the Fuse is 78" with a fai spinner and right at two meters with a contra unit.
The wing span is 78" 1050 square inch
The fuse is right a 16.5" tall at the canopy and 7.5 inches wide
The fin/rudder is 18.25" tall
The airplane will perform identical with either a Contra, Electric ,or Glow!
I was told it was not possible , Like all of my trimming advise before it I promised Brenner I could build a side by side compatible airplane for contra and Glow, and we did it!
Yes, it`s a Goliath it flies like an Arrow. and has the rudder power of most Bipes on the market.
This makes it perfectly suitable for Both AMA style and Unknowns in F3a.
This was a Challenge and took three years of testing and development on two proven airframes the Shinden and the Valiant.
What will impress you most about it is, It will fly like a trainer in heavy winds and also on demand, perform incredible knife edge feats with ease and absolutely no mixing. Now if you know me you know I don`t make Idle claims , I back up my claims with proof!
There are plenty videos and testimonies of the airplanes doing these feats. on Youtube So,
If you are interested in the most precise , advanced ,proven airplane on the market without add on`s or extra wings and things to worry about I strongly suggest you take a second look at the Allure.

Here is some video for your viewing pleasure!

Take note the Valiant is a small airplane by todays standards and it is pretty impressive on knife edge.
Some one asked why such a high nose angle on knife edge, well if you look close the down wind leg exits are a zero to very little throttle.
I was demonstrating the knife edge power and even in 15-20 mph gust the spiral slip steam did not affect me
The wind did move me around some at the high angle fall at no throttle , bear in mind that fall was rudder only , pretty astounding!

Hi Guys Some good news !
Many of the air planes are complete! The German distributor F3A Lorenz aircraft are getting ready to ship. I have weights and pictures of their models Bruno Sent me and they are outstanding .The yellow base is very nice.
Also, the Australian distributor Jason Arnold at, Precision Aero Products
http://www.precisionaeroproducts.com.au should have one or two to show for their Masters Comp. in a coupe weeks.
The US order is almost complete and I will have some examples to bring back from my inspection visit, Namely our US Team model for Switzerland.
I`m taking orders now for the next batch. if you want to get in send me an email. to [email protected] or [email protected]
The production models look as if they are coming out at ,or around 2300- 2400 grams including the gear and wheel pants Very impressive!. It will have a setup/trim guide that I will mail to the customers who purchased the model ,with specific details on adjusting and perfecting to your skill level. The set up guide will include specific throws for snaps and spins and finally a construction guide.
There will also be a servo recommendation guide for Futaba ,and JR guys
A little video for you guys on the first flights of the contra and my impressions

Bryan has flown the Contra version Allure. See previous videos. Bryan could almost be persuaded to go electric. ;-)
I believe the gear ratio used was 9.89:1 in conjunction with Brenner's 20" prop combo.
Cheers,
Jason

Hey Guys,
The twins have arrived. Twin Allures that is! One is Electric and the other Contra.
A massive thanks to must go to Bryan Hebert and Aun at Xtreme Composite for making this happen!
More pictures to come later tonight when they get home.
For those that are interested, one of these airframes will be on display at this weekend's Masters at Pitt Town, NSW Australia.
Cheers,
Jason.

Hi guys,
Both twins seem to have been delivered without complications. The packaging is excellent!
Here are some more pictures. The fuse is cavernous!
Tonights task will be to get the U/C and tail wheel assembly fitted.
Cheers,
Jason.

Started on the wing servos last night. Had to open out the servo hole a little to suit the Futaba servos. Not much required perhaps 0.5 to 1mm.
A couple of pieces of 1/16" balsa either side helps to centre the servo so holes cab marked and drilled.
I just used a pin vice with a 1/16" drill bit to make the screw holes by hand.
Then fit the screws and you're almost done. On these servos I have fitted 40cm HD extensions. A small piece of fishing rod binding string is used to tie the plugs together. Light and strong!
Within the wing is a paper tube to carry the servo wire and extension. Neat!
At this time I have also marked the hinge line centre on the masking tape in preparation for mounting the control horn.
I now discover that the servo horn should be on the other side of the servo. The Secraft horns are very tight and a puller is needed to get them off. Im reliably informed that these arms should NOT be used on servos with a plastic output shaft/spline.

Wings basically done. I have fitted the CK Aero control horns with NMP 2.5mm dual axis rod ends. Ralph Schweizer makes some 2.5mm titanium linkages so they will be used in this application.
Cheers,
Jason.

Gday Jason,
Couldn't help noticing that your servo arm is about the same as your control horn which I think you will need to adjust your ATV on your FUTABA TX a fair way down
Are you not concern about the reduction in resolution
regards
Mavros

It's lucky I don't use a Futaba Tx then. Actually, I fly a Multiplex Profi TX with Futaba servos.
The servo horns are 20mm and the CK Aero control horn is the 20mm length version. Not sure how much throw this is going to give me yet but am aiming for 25+ degrees for snaps. May need longer horns! In any case, as long as my Tx travel settings are above 80% i'm happy with the resolution. A flight phase (mode) will be used to reduce the throw down to around 12 degrees for normal flying.
When are we going to see you at a NSWPF comp?
Cheers,
Jason.
