Default Wing/Stab Incidence?

I have acquired a Sebart Wind S Pro 2m. What are you all using as the thrust line/datum line/water line to establish and verify the incidence of the wing and stab? I would normally use the canopy rail to set the datum line when setting the incidences.

Thanks for any information you can provide.
Cheers

Well since no one else has offered anything I'll pass on what I was told when I asked the same question about my Wind S Pro; the critical measurement is the wing to horizontal stab and not to really worry about a datum line on the fuselage, mostly because as you've found out, there isn't an easily established line on the fuselage.

Doesn't this model have a nose ring? That would make a good datum IMHO...

Cheers,
Jason.

Well yes it does, but if it's for a conventional motor/prop install, the whole front of the nose is canted to the right. If it's a contra fuselage, then it's flat.

Kind of a pain using that as the datum....

Here's the point; those numbers are only a starting reference, then you go fly the thing and trim as needed.
