How to store completely new batteries
Hello
Battery type : Hacer 5000 TOP FUEL 20C 5S
How is The best way to store completely new batteries (after purchase)
For a long time ?
Is it worthwhile to charge and unload them from time to time ?
Or leave them as they came from the manufacturer ?
Thanks
Kobi

My Feedback: (3)
Discharge to storage voltage ... approximately 3.8V to 3.85V per cell for a LiPo.
Place the batteries in a LipoSack and store them in a high temperature refrigerator at approximately 45-50degF
(I have a small refrigerator dedicated to my batteries just for this purpose)
You can keep them in this state for well over a year with no worries.
When you want to use (or cycle them for longer storage), just allow them to come back up to room temperature before cycling / balancing them.
