Default Please help with electric setup for older Cermark Javelin II

Hi All,

After a long pause I am planning to convert my Cermark Javelin II from an O.S..46AX to an electric setup.
Wing 58", length 61.5"
Weight without electric motor, ESC battery and prop 3.0 kg or 6 pounds 6 oz.

It would be nice to have a bit more power than the fuel setup.

Can you give me some advise on a suitable motor, esc, battery and prop combination?
Since I am on a budget and need to ship to Aruba I am looking at Hobbyking for example

Thank you
Jock

I did a similar conversion on a 46'sized glow plane a few years ago.. eflite 60 with an apc 11x12 pattern prop and an 60 amp speed control. With a 6s 3300mah pack...

Whenever doing a conversion the first things to look at are battery access and ground clearance. It is a real nuisance and not very safe to remove the wing for each flight and very few glow planes have the clearance for big E-props.

Thanks big_G.
Yes, that was what I was thinking about also, to feed the battery through the front. And than the black velcro pushes the battery back and holds it?
And in order to get the C.G. right most of it must be pretty much towards the front anyways
