Default Himax 6332 on Focus-II

I converted my Focus-II into electric. I'm using a Himax 6332 brushless outer runner (Kv=230), which is similar to the AXI 5330/F3A. The ESC is Phoenix 110HV, not decide which battery packs, so just reconfigure the battery I have on hand...... Align 9S2P 4200mAh/16C. APC 20x15 prop, I got 72.5A, 6100 rpm at full throttle. Hope I will have flight report this weekend.

Luke - Fantastic numbers. My Plett 30/10 turns the 20x15E at 5700 - would love to have another 400 rpms.

Another feature of this motor I really like is, the Himax 6332 is easy to take apart to replace any damaged parts. Just like we always do in our model engine. Order parts from them and replace by yourself, no need to ship back to manufacture and wait 2-3 weeks till it comes back.

Hi, Chris:

I sure will take it there, but not sure it will be ready for a contest. A lot fine tuning to do.... and I don't want to mix-up with my glow power Hydeout..... the flying style is different. Are you going to the Hollister contest? See you then.

Luke

Has anyone collected any more data on the Himax 6332? Has anyone used it near it's 100 Amp burst rating?
