CA Models and F3A Unlimited
Today I am proud to announce that Chris Moon www.f3aunlimited.com will be importing the CA Models Kits and RTF versions of the Onas, Visa, and Passport 2010. Along with those 3 models Chris will also be handling the accessory line. This will include the CF Fan Spinners, Anodized Control Horns w-BB Clevis, Carbon Gear and the Airplane Covers. (More designs and products coming soon)
I think both CA and Chris have really raised the bar when it comes to providing the best possible products for todays pattern flier. Chris will also be taking orders for the ARF versions but for the time being we will continue to ship from AR.
It has been a lot of work to get to this point and neither of them have any intentions of slowing down now. I have design ideas for new models that I want to see produced and made available to everyone that will take us well into the future and I am just one person on the team. Chris has told me that he will have his site updated today and I will try to let you know as soon as it is up.
Sorry for being so brief but I need to get back work so Marcelo and can be ready for Phoneix. We hope to see all of you there.

Like Ryan said: "I might as well turn over my paycheck right to Chris "
Sounds like a match made in heaven.
Can't wait to see some of these in person!

RE: CA Models and F3A Unlimited
The first shipment of kits from CA Model to F3A Unlimited is due in February. The pricing is designed so that the total cost to the customer is the same whether you order from the factory or from F3A Unlimited. Kits and ARCs (as well as accessories) will be stocked in the USA by F3A Unlimited. The ARF models will also be sold by F3A Unlimited, but will be drop shipped directly to the customer from CA Model in Argentina.
Kit pricing:
from factory:
Visa $1450 + $200 shipping from Argentina = $1650 net to customer (add $100 split rudder option)
Passport $1350 + $200 shipping from Argentina = $1550 net to customer (add $100 split rudder option)
Onas $1250 + $200 shipping from Argentina = $1450 net to customer
from F3A Unlimited:
Visa $1650 shipped to your door (add $100 split rudder option)
Passport $1550 shipped to your door (add $100 split rudder option)
Onas $1450 shipped to your door
As you can see, the total price to you is the same regardless of whether you buy from factory or from F3A Unlimited

Without having to type everything twice, you see the idea. Net price to the customer is same regardless of source.
ARC Pricing (net price to customer):
Visa $2000 + $200 = $2200 (add $100 split rudder option)
Passport $1850 + $200 = $2050 (add $100 split rudder option)
Onas $1750 + $200 = $1950
ARC Pricing (net price to customer):
Visa $2000 + $200 = $2200 (add $100 split rudder option)
Passport $1850 + $200 = $2050 (add $100 split rudder option)
Onas $1750 + $200 = $1950

As much as I admit to having an addiction, I think I'm good for a year or so, but then there's always next season

I'm thrilled to see this happen. I wish Chris and CA Models all the best. It'll probably take a little patience on everyones part but the end result should be a reliable source to get planes and equipment. I like the savings going with a kit affords one. It's significant to get more guys building which is good for the sport.
Chris you've come a long way in a relatively short time. You have my support all the way.
I can assure everyone that the new planes coming from Chip and Marcelo are top notch. I received my Onas ARC on Monday and it's light and beautifully built. The glass work is much improved over previous CA models. Very stiff, light and smooth as you will see from any top notch company. Mike Mueller

RE: CA Models and F3A Unlimited
Hi Folks
Does someone have a contact number for Marcelo from CA ? I have been trying to reach him for a long time at the CAModel office but he is never there.
Or an alternative email? (I have [email protected])
thanks
Peter
