I have the wheel pants on but no fairings or Wing SFG's. I tried the gear leg fairings & they made no difference to the KE pitch coupling BUT did introduce some roll coupling (slight). I would also say they increased he rudder authority a little. Anyway I took them back off as they make storage an issue for me (I hang the model by the legs). Next I will investigate the effect of the wing SFG's and also dropping the Ailerons.

F3AUnlimited will be stocking the complete line of Sebart planes soon.
We will have all the popular F3A models. It will probably be towards the end of summer before we have all the details ironed out and the planes available for sale.
It is our plan to have an ample inventory and do whatever it takes to get the planes into the hands of those who use them.

Can You tell little more what this "new version Luxury" consist of?

Is the wing+stab not covered with Oracover - are theyglassed and painted instead?

What else may differ from standard version of MythoS Pro?

What is the price for YourLuxury version and who sell this Luxury version?

Hello bem.


The balsa parts are prepared with special technic for paint over the pieces, keeping the lightweight and improven the strenght, but not heavy fiber glass.
The wings have reinforced structure. The fuselage is also painted with the same technic than the wings and this improve the weight. All the parts have polished clear cote, this improve the steps between the colors and bring to the plane more brightness with low weight and better aerodinamic because is much clean surface. All metalic colors, something that with Oracovered parts not be possible.
Luxury bags included in the kit.
This is a Formula one version, the standard Mythos is a great plane and a great flyer, the luxury version is a piece of art compared with the standard airplane.
This plane is for the people that want the best plane in the best way ;)

I hope that all this helps to you to understand the difference, but for feel the real difference, is better see one in first person and fly it.

Thank's for the info. It seems to be a nice "enhancement" of MythoS Pro.
I suppose they are finishedin this new all painted version whenthey get new order from a customer that want this new luxury version?
How long did it take from Your order to it was finished and delivered to You?

What equipment (motor, prop, ESC, battery, radio/servosetc) do You plan to use in Your MythoS Pro?

This version is totally different to the standar version. I believe that the standar version have a great ratio price/quality, and with the standard version a good pilot can win any championship. But this version is just for the guys that want a very nice looking plane, with a good weight and top quality. Anyway, it´s is just question of taste.
I know that have the plane after the order takes about three months, but is better ask directly to Seba.
My Mythos will have Axi 5325/24 motor, 20,5x13 propeller, jeti Spin 99, graupner HV servos. I will try to test before the HV servos and Jeti receiver, i plan don´t use regler and use lipo 8,4v for all the electronical.

If You have any more information on how the wing and stab are prepared/strenthened before painted it would be nice to know.
The wing and stab seems to be very well painted/finished but it is the underlying work before they where painted that is interesting to know also.

How durable against scratches and dents is the painted wing and stab surface do You think?
Only thing I can compare to is my MythoS 125E that is all oracover, and I have also seen close Sebart Wind S Pro with oracover covered wing+stab and also the composite wing+stab version of this plane.

Sorry, about the preparation from the surfaces I can´t bring to you information.
About the durability of this paint, this need the care that deserve, this is much better than Oracovered, and need much care than Oracover, I have many planes with balsa painted, and never have a problem with the scratches, but I need be carefully with the parts.
Is like if you have a luxury car, normally all us will try to take on very good care;)

Yes, the price could be that, but the price for the standard version is 1800€, here you can find the price list:

Like i told you before, there are some variations between the standard and luxury version, anyway, the standard version is a great flyer like you can see in the hands from Christian, he is a very strong pilot and I know that he made a great practice with the plane.

Forgive me if I have misunderstood but it is You personally that paint the MythoS Pro on behalf of Sebart?
If You have any more close photos to post here of the paint job so one really can judge paint quality if would be very good - for example a linkto very high resolution photos so one can zoom in and have a good look.
I have the smaller MythoS 125E myself and I was competing some days ago,it was one MythoS Pro (standard version) there also and if flies great (the pilot with the MythoS Pro took first place in FAI F3A class by the way).
