*Hyperion Katana F3A 90e*
Is anyone flying this plane? I was looking into setting one up with a 120 4 stroke. The spec say that the plane will except a 90-120 glow but it is designed to be all electric. Is the structure of the plane made well enough to take the vibration of a 4 stroke? Any bad flight habbits?

I'm flying the 63e version (by the same designer), which is smaller and quite different, but i doubt the structure is able to withstand the vibration of a glow engine. It flies well, but the wing incidence seems too low (perhaps it's a 0-0 setup). The take-off runs are too long, it needs about 2 mm of up elevator for horizontal flight and requires the CG position too far back (~37%MAC). I'll check the incidence soon and change it to +0.5 if it's needed.

I am on my second Katana 90E. It is very light/fragile and I would not put a glow 1.20 on it. I have the exact e-set up recommend by Hyperion. It flies outstanding with no bad habits. It is an excellent value for $199.
