I will practice a lot these next months with several different planes to be ready for the Gee Bee, i'am still a newbie with planes, even if fly hélicopters for 2 years (fixed and variable pitch). I will need some help to choose the right components for this Gee Bee, i was thinking about a Turnigy Brushless 3536 1800kv, with 70A ESC, not sure for the size of the prop may be a 9x6, the radio is a spektrum dx6i. Feel free to give your opinion and advices. EDIT: I'll try to put here links from the informations i can find on the Gee Bee, whatever the scale it is: Small UMX foam Gee Bee here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...hlight=gee+bee Small 28" Gee Bee here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=776230 Giant 93" Gee Bee here: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10..._1/key_/tm.htm Lot of information for this 39" gee bee r2 ep .25arf, seems to be the same plane with minor differences, here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...hlight=gee+bee Some more on a 40" Gee Bee: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...25&page=20 One more here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=342801 This one looks more "scale": http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...e=15&pp=15 Gee Bee HERR : http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...813&page=3 |

landing was not easy but the plane landed safely. The story goes on ... |
I'm reviving an old thread by asking how landings have gone since your last post coming up on two years ago.
