Training aid size for a Neon Blaze V3 (630mm rotor)
Hi all.
Been flying 4 channel for a year so time to move up a gear !
Well I took the plunge and, after advice on here suggesting to ask the local Model Shop what CP heli has good reports and good spares availability, I bought a "Neon Blaze V3"
Not attempted to fly it yet as I wish to fit a training aid set to it.
Question = The rotor diameter = 630mm, what size training aid set should I be looking for ?
Thanks for looking

Any 400 size training gear should work as I think that heli is a 400 size airframe.

No problem.
I never bought training gear. I acutally made some for my 450 out of carbon fiber rod(tube actually) and 4 ping pong balls. I just drilled a hole through the ping pong balls and used small pieces of fuel tubing on either side of the ball on the rod to hold them in place. I then attached the gear to the landing skids via velcro. Worked great! Not my idea...read somewhere online at some site that someone made theirs this same way. So I tried, and it worked fine. Hoever, like I said it was for a 450...but the 400 isnt that much smaller soi dont see why home made training gear wouldnt work for the 400 as well.

Thanks for the advice folks. Based on it, I bought a 450 sized set from a ebay supplier as it was only £5 (~$6) so was easier than going into town to the LHS to buy rods and to the sports shop to buy ping pong balls !
I am getting a bit more time in on the SIM before venturing out doors with the new bird
(but that subject is in another thread )
