Default Anyone Fly Electric here?

Hi guys,
Anyone in the forum fly electric Heli's?
I've an Ikarus Eco8, and have been through a couple of motors while I'm learning, so I've take the plunge with a brushless motor and controller. In the Uk they cost nearly as much as the Heli itself, but I'm assured that I won't regret it, but still waiting for the order to come through.
Anyone tried the Hacker Series of motors (X250-4H) coupled with a Schulze 45e?

ELECTRICS, YES!!!

I fly a Voyager E, and hopefully next week will have my new Joker flying...

Don't know to much about the Eco8, but it looks like a pretty nice machine...

On the V-E I fly a Hacker B40-8L w/Schulze 45ho on 10 cells... crashed it about 6 weeks ago, got all the parts to fix, but the weather turned nice enough so I started flying the X-Cell Gasser... Poor little V is still sittin'... Then the new Joker came and the V still sits...

Maybe I'll put the V back together this weekend...

Sorry for the ramble, I'm not familiar with the X-250 series...

Yu might try Fitz Walker at www.fxaeromodels.com ... They're strictly E-helis...

Take care,

Hi Robin,
I have 2 Eco 8's and one has the Ikarus X250-4h running on the Schultze 45Ho with 10 cell packs. It flies great, lots of power and I get about 9 minutes of flight per pack.

Mike
