Default Which one to get?

I have a question, I am looking for a mini helicopter, one that is prebuilt, ready to go, what do you guys suggest and how much are they? looking for something with decent power, and decent flight times (prefer to use li-polys)

Do you have any RC experience? Any RC equipment?
If you are starting out, you will definitely want a fixed pitch (FP) model.
What is your budget like? If you can afford separate components like a head hold gyro, you will have a much easier time learning to hover.
I happen to have a flying model for sale. you can look at the specs [link=http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=293643]here[/link].
It is ready to go. It has all of the modifications/upgrades to make it a well behaved, sturdy heli suitable for the beginner. It has a ton of spares. It will fly with a basic 4 channel transmitter. out of the half dozen or so helis I have worked on, this is the most stable configuration.

Oh, it is the weekend, and I have free cell minutes on the weekend. If you want to PM me with your phone number, I can call you and talk about what options you have. I promise not to make it a sales pitch for the one I am selling. Mostly, I want to ask about what your experience and expectations are.

I have been flying airplanes for over 10 years, flown helicopters for 2 years, but that was 5-6 years ago. Just want a turnkey mini helicopter that I dont have to mess with building. Something to play with inside and out.

i started with the aerohawk.

non of the micro helis are easy to learn however if you go by the manual you will be fine.
take your time, read it and choose what you think is best.

the most important is that you will train urself using a simulator before starting.

i used piccofly to train.

i heard realflight G3 will be out soon and will have realistic micro helis but its all rumors.

[link=http://ehbg.rchomepage.com/]read the manual[/link]

and remember that hover takes more than pushing the stick up one time.

The hummingbird or GWS dragonfly are among the best mini's, both similar and easy to get parts. I prefer the colective pitch as foward flight is and aerobatics are easier. Do yourself a favour and get a 3S liPoly to go with the machine. I didn't like my heli til I got the 3S to go with it. A friends fixed pitch hummingbird got much more flyable with a 3S liPoly. Good Luck.

Please post your thoughts after you get it. I'm looking at the same heli.

Thanks!

I too would love to see how you go. I've got the Australian version but have not been able to fly it yet.
