Default shogun/electron 6 use question

I have an electron 6 receiver and am curious if I should remove the cover to save weight or will it not make enough difference to matter? Thx, Mike...

You can if you want... I didn't bother, though. I'd rather have the case on for some crash protection, personally.

I left the case on mine. With the tail servo mounted on the boom and the 401 mounted over it, the Heli balances really well with the case on.

Plus, like -pkh- said, with the receiver mounted up front, I opt for the extra crash protection.
