Default TP 2100 3S wire gauge? 18 or 16?

I just received a TP 2100 3S pack today from HeliDirect and for some reason the wires on it are only 18 gauge and Thunder Powers site say they come with 16 gauge.
Have they started putting larger wires on them and I got stuck with the small ones or did some deadbeat solder the wrong ones on?
Anyone else have 18awg on yours?

That is strange....... I would think a company like TP would use 14awg not 16 or 18.
Do you know what is really strange ? ........ All the premium lipo packs are shipped
with a deans ultra connector. What is that fire starting [X(] JST connector doing on your
premium TP pack ?

I ordered a couple of batteries from max-amps and requested that they put JST connectors on them. so what I ended up with is two 3cell 11.1v 1650mah batteries with what looked like 20 to 22 gauge wire. I think that the JST plugs already had the wire on them and max-amps did not change them to bigger wire. if you asked for the JST connector that may be why you got smaller wire. I ended up putting Deans ultra connectors with 14gauge wire on the batteries but it was not fun...
