Default 4in1 fried?

I had an incident today where I couldn't get the power off quickly enough. I saw smoke exiting the main motor before I pulled the battery off. The motor is OK because it spins when connected to a power supply. However when I connect the battery to the 4in1 it flashes red then stays red.

Is my 4in1 fried? Is there a better or cheaper replacement?

Default RE: 4in1 fried?

yea its fried, I had a similar incident with my aerohawk where two wires were touching and I didnt notice it when I gave it some throttle. It fried and never worked again . Most likely the best thing to do is just buy a new 4-1.
