First of all,the PC needs to recognize the port you are using-in my case it is comm1-then ppjoy needs to be set for virtual joystick and usually zhen hua protocol.Once this is done, you leave ppjoy running and minimized then go into FMS.Of course you should have your TX powered on first!Sometimes if you have another device like a game cotroller hooked up it will conflict with the input from ppjoy.Once you get FMS working you need to calibrate your controls and make sure the sticks are assigned the proper inputs. That's about all I can tell you without going into a lengthy step by step explanation-good luck!

After you configure controller[I don't know why you don't have virtual port] you exit then open folder ppjoycom-this is where you select virtual joystick and zhen hua protocol.

Is your serial port enabled in the bios of your computer? Check by going to device manager and then expand ports and you should see a com port 1 at least, possibly more than one. Also I tried using a serial/usb adaptor with no luck. I suggest sticking to serial.
