No!! The Raptor G2 is way too much for a begginer, too responsive. And you're going to have to invest in a bunch or upgrades to get it flying worth crap. Get the Blade Cx2 at www.horizonhobby.com Grrrreeeeeeeeaaaaaatttt for a beginner and has great electronics---the Dx6 system! Its also cheaper and includes a Li-po and instructional video. (and not to mention, you can fly it around the house)

ok- beginner is spelled....well....... correctly in THIS post- and remember, "if someone can't spell, dont take thier word for ****!" (btw- that quote is spelled exactly as it appeared. it SHOULD be spelled their, not thier! hmmmm, 2 misspelled to the previous 1 misspelled-so who's word do you take?)

OMG, I know some people that need a chill pill. [X(]

A nice co-axial of any kind would make a great beginner heli. I have a Lama V3 and I think it's great for indoor flight and learning the basics of heli control.

imnew4321, this is an old thread, but what did you decide to do?

Have fun,
Alex

("begginer" lol, had a brainfart. I got my double letters mixed up, but I have an excuse. I responded at 1 in the morning, I was a little tired.)
