New align motor quits
I am using an align bl motor (3550kv) and a 25a esc. I will Idle up and get into a little hover and the motor will stop turning. I will turn the throttle all the way down and start up again and it will be fine. And so on. What does this usually mean? thanks

There is a high amp cut off on your esc, and you are hitting it. See if you can disable it by programing, if you can't get a 35 amp esc and all your problems will be solved. You might also lower the pitch on your blades, you will get higher head speed and draw less current.

Huh?
never heard of that....... I used a 25a on my Trex for a while. While it isn't the best (a quark 33 would be nice) it will work.....
ESC's will just fry if too many amps are put through them...
I am with PTB... it sounds like a low voltage cutoff....
what battery pack is being used....
the battery is the most overlooked, but most important part of the electric equation

I am sorry, you are right, it is a low voltage cutoff. But the battery drops voltage because a lot of amps are being drawn from it. So the effect is the same.

I had the same symptoms with a bad battery. Once it had a load it would just stop. Without a load it seem fine.
