RE: Copter X 450 Black Angel
It will be a good heli I guess. The 450 BA does have its advantages. The simplicity of design and its head design made it a distinct heli. but it has some disadvantages too. The heli is too light so if you are to do 3D on a slightly windy day it might be a little harder to control as its light weight tends to get influenced easily by gusts of wind. Compared to a TREX PRO or Sport which has a little more tolerable in windy flights.
The 500 might have all the BA's distinct features but will still be enhanced for its size. It will be something to get and test out.

ORIGINAL: Zeta30
It's good that they are taking their time before releasing it. The BA 450 seems to have been released with no bugs to work out, unlike other heli's that seem to have been rushed to production, so hopefully the 500 will as solid as the 450.

RE: Copter X 450 Black Angel
I went ahead and final bought a BA and I am having an issue getting binding in the head figured out. The ball link that attaches to the wash out control arm is hitting the washout base prongs when I have 100% throttle and give it full right or left collective. I'm attaching a photo.
I have +-11 degree pitch.
I have the links measured out according to the directions. Here's a photo...

Got to test out the BA with its FBL system,
This is far fast. In comparison with the flybared system the Black Angel FBL has fast cyclics. I have to test this out at out field this weekend and see if its any good in flight.

Well it really depends how you will be flying..... if you will be doing 3D, Hard 3D or 3Dx. I would suggest to use electronics that will fit that way of flight... but if it will be a starter kit. it will work just fine...

RE: Copter X 450 Black Angel
tested the Black Angel with its FBL electronics... heli is really fast... handles quite different from the stock...
the electronics seems to hold quite well. The new head design is quite good. a few more tweaks with the electronics and this will fly more competitively.....

Awesome! Someday maybe I'll be there! For now I'm gonna try a KDS 450 SV and learn from there... Supposed to be really good stock. Found nothing bad about them so we'll see! Thanks!
