Smartech Aero-Hawk elec heli

Has anybody seen one of these before?

They are a fixed pitch 4 ch and at under AU$400 with TX it sounds very dodgey, but just be interested to know if they fly or not.

Got mine from ebay. After about 12 charges I can hover pretty well but have a strange vibration after 60 secs. ( maybe a balance prob) This is my first rc helicopter and would recommend it for the money. Mine has taken some sickening knocks and keeps on going!!

Default Aero Hawk

It can take the bumps I have cracked the rotor blades twice and just glue them back together.

I need to disasmble and balance everything. On the head I neede to remove flash so the rototrs would teter easly once done it takes right off. Cant seam to get the knack of it yet though everytime I get in trouble I kill the throttle and land with a thud but is very durable.

I got mine for 229 out of new york

Helihobbie is going to carry upgrdae parts etc...

Side by side very close to pic

I got it from http://www.rcmart.com at $173. They also have full replacement parts for Aero Hawk.

More information of this funny heli can be found at

the aerohawk is the skylark MK2. It basically seems the same with a few minor changes like battery mounting etc. I have a skylark and find it very easy to control and can take a lot of knocks so i would think the aerohawk should be slightly better.
