Annoying "chirping" sound from gears
Hi Guys
Been in RC Airplanes for 30 years. New to helicopters
I have a E-Flite mcx s300
How can I quiet that annoying "chirping" sound from the gears? gear mesh is not too tight.
What lube would you use? Thanks a lot.

I do not believe the noise you are hearing is coming from the nylon gears or there mesh with the brass pinions. I bet that noise is coming from the main shaft & bearings/bushings. When is the last time you lubed those areas with a light oil? Use a light-weight oil like sewing machine oil, apply a few drops then wipe off excess.
