WHAT IS A GOOD CHEAP 250 CLASS HELI KIT
What is a good 250 kit to build?
<hr size="1" style="background-color: #a7a7a7; color: #a7a7a7" />Hi all and thanks in advance. I want to build a 250 class heli and I already have lots of parts laying around. I Built an Align T-Rex 450 SE V2 and I love it. I paid top dollar for my T-Rex and now it is yesterdays news. So with that said what is the best way to go to get a cheap reliable 250 kit up and running. I don't want to spend a lot of money on this one because in 6 months it will be out dated and the next great thing will replace it. I already have the Futaba T7C radio and extra receivers and these bits and pieces
Just so you know these are the parts I already have
Brushless Motor: Park 400 Brushless Inrunner Motor, 4200Kv
http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/De...rodID=EFLM1100
ESC: Electrifly SS-35 Brushless Electronic Speed Control
http://www.electrifly.com/escs/silverseries.html
Gyro: Futaba GY401 Gyro w/SMM Technology
http://www.gpdealera.com/cgi-bin/wga...pgm?I=FUTM0807
Servos: E-Flite 6.0-Gram Super Sub-Micro S60 Servo
http://www.e-fliterc.com/Products/De...ProdID=EFLRS60
I also have lying around that I don't use, an Ikarus Picolo Fun, Ikarus Piccolo Pro, Century Hummingbird V4 and a E-Flite CX2. all with radios ready to fly. The reason I mention this is for cannibalizing them for parts if needed or desired...

RE: WHAT IS A GOOD CHEAP 250 CLASS HELI KIT
Hi and thanks for your replies. I have looked at these sites, read some of the posts here on this site and others. Really what I wanted to know is if anyone has compared these 250 class helicopters and found any of them better or worse then others so I could weed out some of the choices. I Apologize in advance if this starts any wars. I am just trying to limit the choices out there to a couple of good kits.

Hey chopper1one, i got a 250 kit from hobby king and its the same thing as my t-rex 250'
Some things you guys should know, there is only 2 manufacturers that make these kits.
Some have name brands and some don't.
I paid 250$ for a rex 250
Paid 26$ from hobby king
