Which bearings wear out first on a 450 size heli

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; ">What bearings in a 450 sized heli seem to need replacing earliest. (E-Razor 450, HK450GT, Belt-CP) I want to have some on hand when that happens. I looked at the exploded view and there are so many. I would bet some are more prone to wear (damage) than others. What experiences have you all had out there?

Anyone tried the ceramic bearings? Are they worth the cost?

RE: Which bearings wear out first on a 450 size heli

After over 200 flights on my 450 clone, the only time I replace any bearings is after a crash. When rebuilding after a crash, I check bearings for notchy feel, and replace. Hard to tell if they wore out or were damaged in the crash. I'm guessing crash.

I've replaced a couple of tail assembly bearings after a tail first crash.
The most common to replace is the bearing on the inside of the blade grip, closest to the main shaft.
Once had to replace the upper main shaft bearing after a bad crash that bent the main shaft.

Hope this helps.

The radial bearings in the blade grips and the Main shaft bearings will almost always go in the event of a crash. If you are going to get spares, that what I would get.
