Default EDF INLET LIP

Hi, I am planning to make an inlet lip for my 120 fan in order to increase performance, is there any proven formula or articles that I should should be looking at to ensure optimum performance?
I have been looking at all commercial units and there seems to be no stable pattern to follow.

A well designed inlet ring cross-section will resemble a flat bottom air foil, similar to a Clark Y.
Something like this.

Also depends on the duct setup of the design. Look over this http://www.velocity-rc.com/cgi-bin/v...d=2&cid=&idx=1
