Default Smallest Servoless Digital Retracts -Looking for

I would like to convert a Nitroplanes 64mm EDFto servoless retracts. Iam looking for a setup that is less than 6oz in additional weight. The best Ican find are the 10-15 retracts from eflite and a semilar setup from hobbyking.

There must be a global manfacturer out there doing a true micro servoless retract system.

I appreciate at the feedback/help

David

Great! Thanks!

This is very helpful. Quick follow up question. This is a main gear servoless retract. Ilooked for a nose gear version on pw-rc.com but did not find anything. What do you do for a tricycle gear setup for the nose gear?

David

P.S. Ireally appreciate the help.

Nitroplanes.

For a nose gear, if you look at the construction of the mains, you can see that they can be made into a nose gear as well. That's what my CMP T-45 has.

Basically, a steel shaft that has a groove ground around it to have the set screw be screwed down far enough to hold in the steel shaft, but allow it to turn. Control arms are a standard collet with small threaded rods on each side to steer.

think about it.

Steve
