$120 foam jet from hobby people. Almost readynto go but I'm not happy with the loose fit of the ball/socket on the control arm of the elavon.... It's not a full ball/cap that fits over the "ball" that's attached to the elevons control shaft. This is a ring that fits around the ball. It slips on and off so easy that I'm concerned it will come off in flight.... ? I ordered a 2nd airframe for $30 and plan on looking at the fit of the part in that kit....
I can supply a pic if this isn't clear.....

All i can tell you is i flew mine for three years with the stock links with no problem, although i did make a 'bearing' from a scrap piece of ABS for the taileron torque rod.

It is amazing those stock links do work as supplied. For the stock power system I wouldn't worry about it.
