Can you help me upgrade HL f-86 sabre?
So this jet comes stock with a 64mm edf fan and a 4300kv outrunner brushless motor and a 30a esc. I hear about people upgrading their fan, but am not sure what makes what better. How can I tell if something I added would be either an upgrade or a downgrade? I'll eventually be looking to make this jets speed overall faster.
For example, what would this unit do to the plane, and how can I tell?

Please let me know what you think.
Thanks

I just recieved two of those units that I intend to put in my Dyman A-10,
after installing one in one side of the nacelle, all I can say is hold on, just
this one unit is equal to both of the stock fans, the thrust is awesome, on
both 3 and 4 cells. It is slghtly heavier than a stock plastic fan unit but
will be a significant upgrade to your Hobby Lobby F-86, however you may
have to upgrade the ESC to a 50 amp one as the fan unit draws approx.
48 amps and will eventually burn up the stock unit. The 1600 mah battery
the plane is designed for may be a little on the weak side as far a flight time
is concerned. BTW the unit is made by RC Lander and is tagged as such.
