Default Blitz RC F-22 Raptor

Well I must say I went into this one with faith and I have been rewarded greatly with a flying machine that turns-climbs and twist like hell in the air...

easily my favorite jet to fly - just wish I had more battery power for a longer flight time..

outside of that this jet rocks!

Which version of the Blitz RC F-22 did you get? I purchased the Blitz Super F-22 kit. I have started some assembly, but have been trying to find info on what running equipment and possibly build tips others have done. There seems to be a lot on the slightly smaller version but not much on the super.

I also purchased the 50mm "backpack" EDF kit as they like to call it along with the F-35. I figured I could have some fun with the smaller ones while the big one was being sorted out. Are you running the OEM setup or did you modify anything? I've read that a Dons wicked motor and Wemotec fan are a good power plant for them. Surprisingly the kits I purchased came with the OEM motors on the fans.

Mine is completely stock and run very well- I am a bit surprised with the jet.. I did contact Don about an upgrade but I think if I do any upgrades it will be with a 8 or 10 blade w/ESC upgrade to handle the extra current that will be drawn.

What size battery are you running and what kind of flight times are you having? Did you balance the fan or just run it?
