Windrider B737
Ok, I've just ordered the Windrider B737, I chose to include the 14 blade fans and servos in this order. Now, question, I need motors and ESCs.
Its 70mm and about 3 - 4 kg finished. What motors would be good? It recommends 3000 kv, 550W or so.
And, please don't recommend motors that cost around $100 each, I don't have that cash to throw around.
Thanks for your input, this is my first foray into EDF and its exciting. Always wanted an airliner too.

I would choose a motor around 2500Kv for 4 cells, will give you enough for strong takeoff and then you can throttle back and cruise. 2300Kv would be milder and less stress on batteries, 2500Kv should give you around 1.5kg thrust per fan at 60-65 amps each.

Hi,
I'm going to build another one of these and am looking for the best OUTrunner option for 5s. This is with the 14-blade fan. My last one used the BL32 in-runner and was pulling about 70 amps. I'd love to lose the scream of the in-runner for an out-runner "whoosh", and I already have some 5S 4000 packs. TIA for the help.
