I am interested in what alternative batteries guys are running BVM EDF's on other than the ones sold by BVM. I'm looking for equal or better performance at the same or lower costs. My aircraft has room for 2 6s packs. Max physical size that will fit the avail space.....185mm long x 75mm wide x 44mm tall. 6000ma or higher preferably over 7000 highest "C" rating avail in this physical size.

You could worse than search the Hobbking web site. They give the physical dimensions, capacity and weight of each battery..Whether you end up buying from them is then down to you.

I should have been more clear I guess. What I'm asking is what other batteries are guys using that have comparable performance to the Thunder Power packs used and sold by BVM but cost less. Graphene , or Turnigy High Voltage Bolt series or something else. Rather than spend a bunch trying out two or three or four alternatives I'm hoping to get some good info from others experiances or attempts with a number of alternative manufactures.

Also come December Thunder Power has a big sale and you could get the Rampage's for way les , as long as you can get them to fit, same as the saddle packs they sell to BVM just in stick form.

Any high "C-rate" (60+) batteries will do you a great job no matter what brand model you fly. Naturally you are going to pay more for these. Heavy gauge power leads (8G) and solid connectors is a must for best performance.

The Turnigy 6s 6000 65c Graphene match your criteria, can handle amp draws approaching 200a while holding good voltage, and probably cost 1/2 the price of anything BVM sells.
