Default "latest f-35 delivery"

Early Xmas gift came last week, never wanted it but it was so cheap in second hand junk shop my wife said I must have it! No wonder it was stuck on some shelf for the last 10 years or so, and no one wanted it! Just about P&P set up, about finished putting it together, must admit, never got hands on such poorly factory assembled model before! The retractable landing gear is an absolute crap, the bomb drop set up was so bad I had to eliminate and seal it off, so only god knows what' it's going to fly like after I receive the battery to fit inside of pretty restricted space.
I only hope I can fly it on 10ch. SPCM receiver, because it would be a total waste fitting in 9ch 2.4 one to operate all functions.
Range check will be next before I'll take it to the beach for a test run.

The full package from the junk shop.

I hope it flies as good as it looks,

'after maestro's touch.

That "realistic" red and silver trim says it all...

"my wife said I must have it!".... You have to teach us how to get our wives to say that. That's quite an achievement!!!

It's easy, you have to shop long enough to find the right one. The ones from Eastern EU work the best. Totally forget about the Western ones!
BTW, this thing is so nose heavy at rec. CofG, with the gear up even worse, and my extra small RX batt. totally! Any one still flying this model?

New RX battery compartment.

Easily accessible.
I had to build small battery compartment on the belly for the controls battery to minimize the nose heaviness, the range check with the SPCM set up ended in disaster in less than 50 meters so I had to convert to 2.4 set up, still haven't check it but hoping this time it'll work.

Guy I used to fly with, after his second divorce from two American women, went to Thailand for the third. She has worked out the longest with two kids. Personally, I wouldn't deal with any of them.

RC models are lot more fun than wives, tho I'm the old fashioned one, I believe divorce is a CRIME! Keep looking for as long as you find the right one!

Wife send me flying this morn on Xmas Day so she could clean the house, just back with lunch ready on the table.

No trouble from wife about flying, even supports it. But once in a while she schedules something with the kids while I'm gone flying to give me guilt trip!!!

Ready for action.
The brilliant news is, the range check with the new receiver went all good! Now waiting for the low tide, light breeze for the test flight off the beach, still very nose heavy so it might be bit of roller coaster ride with those huge elevator stabs before I find the perfect sweet spot.
