Default Fly Fly F100 Super Sabre

This Jet has been discontinued production for the past 2 years. Does anyone know if they will ever bring this bird back?
I am looking to buy a KIT version in a box, but unable to locate one. Anyone ?

I have one new in box if you are keen. I'm located in Singapore though, but shipping is possible.

Thanks

She is really something on full blast at 50 volts.

In action.
I still enjoy my 10 pounder on 12S.

Aircraft Grade Aluminum Alloy and uses a (3 ) three bearing systems of balance. It's from { USA FanJets LLC.} I Desperately need a set of retracts....Do you have any idea

The Chinese 90mm fans are a very mixed bag when it comes to efficiency and performance. The JP and EPF fans are about the best of the Chinese (EPF better) but you are wasting $$ on bling that you will never see and sacrificing performance. Models like the FlyFly Sabres, Hawk, and especially MIG15 do best with fans that work well in long often restricted ducting. The Wemotec EVO or Jetfan (both made in the EU) are superior performing products that are also lighter than the Chinese alloy fans.

You will never see 10lb of thrust from an EPF 6 cell fan, you might see 3.5-3.8kg on the bench but look at the amp draw, 120A/2600+ watts, that's a real hard hit on a 5000mah pack. An equivalent custom Jetfan that I build will produce 3.6kg thrust all day long on 6 cells, and 4.5kg on 8 cells, its lighter than a JP fan and has superior dynamic thrust in the air to the Chinese fans. The EXTREME GRP Jetfan 6s pulls 2300 watts and puts out 3.6kg thrust in the standardized bench testing with inlet lip. The EXTREME GRP Jetfan 8s pulls just under 3000w to produce 4.5kg thrust on the bench. In comparison the JP 8s fan pulls 2890w in their video yet only manages 3.9kg thrust. The Wemo EVO does similar figures to the Jetfan and has a slightly different sound. EVO & Jetfan are about the lightest hi performance setup you can get.

Retracts, I did a kit for retracts as I was the original importer for FlyFly and HTG in Australia. You wont find HTG anymore as Ricky Wu ran off closing the company and owing $$ to people including me. Mandy who was his partner and still runs FlyFly is a good person to deal with, she has unfortunately stopped shooting the molds for the F4 and F100, she is still making the Hawk, F86, Mirage 2000. I believe she still has Hunter kits in stock.

if you are interested in retracts for your F100 you can go to my 90mm FLYFLY page and find retracts and struts that I put together especially for these models. The factory struts are pretty average, my struts are a lot stronger and better looking with better wheels. Bear in mind pricing is in AUD, so for USD multiply the prices by 0.75.

My favored color scheme.

Simple/solid LG to handle the extra weight off the grass.

So nose heavy with 12S, aft balance was a must.

Enlarged extra intake with mesh.

Flying with the wild life.

TX, it is one of my favored color scheme, very attractive color combo and easy to see, I based on my 2nd. IC DF jet I built many years ago before getting into turbines. (Saber pic.)
On 6S set up, at least you can keep it very light for fun flying, I build some of my EDF foamies purposely heavy with 12S upgrades as a trainers to fly some of my heavy jet turbines and some seriously heavy and large EDFs.
With this Hunk ranging 4.45 to 4.7 kg I get 3.5-3.7 kg static pull on level ground but when holding vertically in hands it just about hold its own weight, meaning it really frees up dynamically especially in the air flying.
Originally I fitted DSR, E-retracts but for my grass fields they were useless so I redesign my own made up fixed gear for reliable service. I fly my jets a lot off the beach sand where salt&sand creates problems after long use so with fixed gear there's no issue. If you have luxus of proper sealed strips go for any decent size retracts that can handle 3+ kg models.

Setting it up.

My favored sand pit.
Adding few more flights to my log book, 385 to date in the last 8 years, not bad result for a foamy. Yesty flying it off my rugged grass strip, today off the beach sand, tho little marginal for comfort.

My favored flying site.
Hi Body, I run 12S power set up, Wemotec fan on 1100kv motor off 120ESC. 4 to 4.5Ah I fit in in tandom, very tight fit for the larger capacity. Extra 5cell batt. for receiver. I use my own design short fix landing gear to handle the grass strips I fly off.
Unfortunately there are no retracts on this planet that can handle reliably models of this caliber to fly off the goat tracks like my field. I love flying it off my beaches but conditions don't always prevail when I feel like it.
My maiden flight was with plastic cased DSR retracts that ripped off the first landing on the wet grass strip, the second flight was using simple fixed gear that holds so well to date just short of 400, 3-4 min. flying sessions, Cheers.

One more Question, The most important one, Where is the right C/G , I want to use a single 6 cell 90mm EDF to keep it light, but I could go 8 cells or like yours 12 cell So many choices.
