Default Swiss F5

Has anybody any experience with the Hobby Lobby big F5s - the Swiss or Camo versions?

The only experience I have with it is that the box is big and the contents are really nice Should be a good flyer. To many projects going right now to get to it.

i ordered mine like a month ago thinking it was in stock.. i emailed the guys at hobby lobby about the aircraft.. i really wish i could find another dealer that has one in stock right now.. im thinking of ordering two just bc it looks like a really nice jet. from what they tell me. its easy to land and easy to fly. slows down very nicely. but i think the kicker of the aircraft is that it comes with retracts and a 70mm DF unit. the models wont be in till july but im hoping they get an extra shipment in sooner.

I am hoping to get my shipment of 4 units next week! The plane is long and the retracts make it truly attractive Anyways ... more info about the plane here:

FWIW SureFlite shows this model in stock.

I just ordered the parts to build one. There are a couple of threads on RCG already, and the model is reported to be a floater.

I just had a pleasant conversation with Hobby Lobby. I made a pre-order with the camo version. They should be available in July as they say on the website. Being concerned about our altitude here of 5000ft, they also have an upgrade motor which will be available to put about approximate 1400 more rpms

Good info. Just talked to HL and they confirmed July 18 for thr kit. I also ordered the upgraded motor which will aprox double the power output but will need a 45-90 amp controller. Can't wait!

At 9.9ozs of foam this thing should be a real floater <as per the pieces on my scale>
