RE: Velocity-RC WM400MkII
Please ensure that you are buying an authentic WM400Mk2 and not the older Mk1 or cheap asian clone...
As these cheap copies cannot handle the same level of power that the real WM400Mk2 can..

RE: Velocity-RC WM400MkII
Hello all, I got my MK-2 set up from efflux RC motor and fan is 120.00 plus shipping. The Velocity MK-2 70mm 6S motor and fan is one mean set up. I tested it today as I just got in my 6s 40C 4000 pack yesterday. All I can say is wow!!!!!![X(]
Here is what I got on my Hyperion watt meter. Could not get the RPM's as I was inside the house and the light was not right to get a reading. But if you go by the formula of 22.34 X 2900 Kv=64,786 rpm's and smooth as silk not a rub at all.
22.34 V
94.75 Amps
2116 Watts
Keep em flying

RE: Velocity-RC WM400MkII
Hello Rorock,
The WM 4XX Fans from www.Ductedfans-RC.com are authentic We were the investor that made the fans possible through are old partner Andy Pang of Toy Werkz now called Velocity-RC. As to our WM fans being able to take power http://www.ductedfans.com/media/PDRM0011.AVI. We have run ours on 10s, and we have maybe done more testing on them than anyone else. I find little difference in the MK1 or MKII as far as performance.
PS all the Velocity WM fans are made in China / Asia. The soon to be released WM 480 VX 3 is made in Ohio, USA, as the partnership between Ductedfans-RC and Velocity has dissolved.
The WM fans are worth a look.
I will dig up more test vids or check here http://www.ductedfans.com/videos.html.

RE: Velocity-RC WM400MkII
I recently finished a Velocity-RC T-33 running 5S on the BL2856 3200kv motor. Nice jet!
