Turbine into electric
Okay you jetters I need some HELP in your field. I build nitro and gas planes and mess(up) with electric foamies. I want to buy the F-16 at TBM for $599/$999 with extras. But turbines are still to high. where and what do I need to do this unit in the electric system? My email is: [email protected] getting that power to weight x thrust + time..on..on..on and on WOW. I have no issue building it. It is what goes into it to fly RIGHT I need help in. So if you all will check out this jet at TBM and give me some help I thank you.
Here are a few of my units. enjoy. The T-28 is fire wood...
Thanks

RE: Turbine into electric
Hello!
By TBM I assume you are talking about the flyeagle F16. This aircraft is not a good plane to convert to EDF because the inlet is to small for electric. If you want to do an F16 in electric the yellow F16 is a good one along with Tams F16 and the skymaster F16 with some inlet mods. If you can build then the yellow F16 is a sweet plane to have.

RE: Turbine into electric
Morning,
Thanks for the insight on the size of that Flyeagle. But it is a good price.
Now where do I locate the Extreme Scream?
Well let me go and take out the O.S. .91 out of the BAe.. bad piston need to get a new one.
Thanks, Again
