Default Help flying in ARIZONA

Was curious if anyone could teach me to fly. I live near the Fear Farm RC park. It'd be really cool of someone to help out. There is a guy on craigslist offering for $50/hr. I'm not working at the moment and can't afford that. Reply here and I'll give you some info. Thanks!

Here's a couple of ideas if you haven't already tried them: Go to the AMA web site and find an R/Cclub (there are several in the Greater Phoenix area). Clubs often have members who also serve as instructors. Hobby shops often know of an instructor.

And please don't give some guy 50 bucks an hour for what the true hobbiest will do for just the pleasure of getting someone new into the hobby. The only people who should make money from the hobby are the LHS and the distributors.

Well, to be honest, I was a bit taken back when I saw that. I did look in the free section too. Coming from cars and trucks, I'd train for free just to have another excuse to get my vehicles out and about!
