Matt makes an excellent point... the SS is one of a few planes that allow you to adjust the wing position on the fuse.
If your SS is tail heavy, and most build out that way, slide the wing back on the fuse some. That increases the moment of the nose and decreases the tail moment. The weight of the motor will have a larger effect and help balance the plane w/o adding any extra weight.
Also, make sure your battery pack is as far forward as possible to help the balance.
