Default low rate/expo settings for UM T28, P40

I have both the Parkzone ultra micro T28 and P40. Out of the box, the T28 flies great. The P-40 seems extremely sensitive. Looking at the manuals, the P40 recommends low rates, which I had not set (70% all controls I believe). Haven't tried it yet...

The T-28 doesn't list any low rates; and it doesn't seem like I really need them. But just for fun I programmed them to try them out. There's always the switches to go back.

How about a little expo for the P40? I wouldn't think it would hurt in low does, say 5% to start. Unless there's a whole lot of "NO DON"T DO THAT" I'll probably try it; question is:
1) What low rates/expo do people find works good for P40?
2) What low rates/expo do people find works good for T-28?
3) OR... is it a personal preference thing for the most part?

Regards

I don't have these planes, but I have found that rates and expo are very individual.

I don't use high and low rates. I use high and low expo.

Instead of setting a high and low rate, start out with two low rates until you get comfortable with it. Set one at 70 with 10 expo and another with 70 and 30 expo and see what you like

The only plane I have that has problems with HI/Lo rates is a Parkzone Spitfire.
At the recommended Lo settings I don't have enough up elevator to properly flare.
About 70-75% is normal for a Lo rate setting on 4 of my larger planes.
Expo is a very personal thing. The usual starting point for me might be 25%-40%
My tx'es have three positions for Expo and Hi/Lo on one switch. I usually set this up for all my planes by default..
Top High Rate, no Expo. Middle Low Rate with Expo, Bottom Low Rate Only. When the plane is first flown, I decide to keep or alter as needed.
Flaps are also set up with three positions. No Flap, 1/2 Flap, and Full Flap.
