Default Type of Wire for twin 400s

After reversing over my twinstar in my car!!!! i have managed to recover the motors and built a vulcan bomber for 2 400 pusher motors but am unsure what type of cable to use from the esc to the motors any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance Lee.

Default RE: Type of Wire for twin 400s

If the weight is not absolutely critical 16g would be a good option. For the currents you are going to pull through, 18g (20g might not cut it) would be okay, but would offer a little more resistance. Make sure to locate your ESC as close to the battery as you can - long wires from ESC to motors are okay; long wires from battery to ESC induce potent voltage spikes and are a no no.

Cheers, Phil
