Default GWS speed control newbie question

Hi all,
New to the electric scene. Bought a slow stick with a GWS flight package (speed control, battery etc etc.). Anyway, there werent any instructions with speed control and it came with a heat sink, thin rubber pad and a piece of heat shrink. Am I suppose to place the pad between control and heat sink and then heat shrink wrap it?

Thanks for any help

Default RE: GWS speed control newbiw question

IMHO the heat sink for your GWS ESC is not required on a slowstick. If you had a model with an inclosed electronics compartment it would be more critical. The SS has plenty of air flow to keep your ESC cool.
