Default Skygo or Easystar for beginner

My friend wants to start breaking into the Hobby with me and he wants to buy through Hobby Lobby...he is torn between the Skygo and the Easy Star...any advice on either of them?

I think the Skygo is made by Hobby Lobby, they make good planes?

I cannot tell you anything about the Skygo but the EasyStar is the best beginners plane I have ever seen. The foam it is made out of will take a lot of abuse and keep on flying. If it does get broke it usually only takes a few minutes with a little CA to get it back in the air.

Tom- will he need a soldering gun if he buys the ARF? He does not know how to solder and that is why he was leaning towards the Skygo
