Default problems with Triton charger and/or NiMH battery

Hi,

When I attempt to charge a 1675 mAh NiMH AA pack the charger ends and says it's complete long before the charger ends the charge prematurely when for example it has only put in 150 mAh. It does the same thing when I discharge it. I have adjusted th sensitivity of the charge to be less sensitive but get the same results. I am attempting to charge and discharge at .4 A. Any ideas?

Default RE: problems with Triton charger and/or NiMH battery

Press the menu and scroll keys together and then let go of the scroll. You may have to do this many times for the charger to open up the extra menu functions.

You'll know if the charger has opened the new sections because after the section titled Temp cut-off it will say Peak Delay at... Scroll to the section after Peak Sensitivity which is titled NIMH Max Charge input. Set this section to 1675 which is the mah of your battery.

This is the only way the Triton will make sure that it charges your battery up to full capacity. Hopefully this helps. I know some people who have had the same problem and once they change that section to the mah capacity of their battery the charger performance great. Good Luck
