Thermal soaring to electric park flyers
Greetings everyone!
I have been involved in RC soaring for a while. I do enjoy those quiet leasurely quests for the perfect uplifting thermal. Now, I would like to become involved in electric park flyers.
The Sukhoi caught my eye, it is truly a classy looking bird. It seems like a model that one could learn on and progress up to aerobatics without spend a lot of $$$ for other planes.
(I need the $$$ for my car gas tank!)
If anyone has any suggestions or input, I truly would appreciate your valued knowledge and expertise!
I thank all of you for your consideration regarding this issue.
Sincere regards,

RE: Thermal soaring to electric park flyers
Are you flying pure sailplanes ( that is what I fly) or electric gliders?
What do you want from the parkflyer? What kind of behavior?
Aerobatics? gentle flying? Electric soaring? Keep in the car, fly anytime? Travel plane?
What kind of radio do you have?
What is your all up budget for the plane, electronics, batteries. Do you need to buy a charger for motor batteries?
