Default Connectors

I am new to electrics but been flying for years.

Going to be ordering a hacker outrunner a20-20L with phoenix 25 esc with LIPower Lites 1320 Mah 11.1v.

Do I need to order any special connectors for esc to engine, receiver. or battery to esc?
Not sure if all the connectors on these components are std. or are different.

thanks

Geoff

Geoff (spell check will have to be over-ridden!)

The Castle CC25 will come with bullet connectors to connect it to the motor. To connect ESC to battery, I use Deans Ultra's, some like the Dean's mini's - and some like Anderson's - I'd pick whatever your buddies are using - makes it easier to creativly borrow batteries from them..

ESC to reciever will come with the ESC.

Theres only 2 main choices for the electric flyer, and that is either the Deans connectors, or the gold, bullet type connectors.
I like and use the 4mm bullet type, but thats me.
( Gold bullet connectors are available in 2mm, 3.5mm and 4mm )

There's not a lot between them, as they are both excellent, it's down to personal preference.

But whatever you do, standardise all your plugs and leads etc, to just one type, it makes life a lot easier for yourself [sm=wink_smile.gif]
