Default Slow Stick Component Help

So far I'm considering purchasing the GWS Slow Stick and a Futaba 6EXAS with the micro servos. I can purchase it with or without the motor from tower hobbies. Is the stock EPS400C motor good. Is the motor brushed or brushless. Will somebody tell me what is a good esc, battery, and motor. I am still lost.

Default RE: Slow Stick Component Help

the motor is a brushed motor...... I have a ss with the same motor.. and it seems fine to me... if you are new to electric flight... I wouldnt worry about getting a brushless motor and anything too fancy until you are a good pilot... cause it dont matter what bells and whistles you put on the plane if you cant keep it up in the air.....

but your setup depends on if you want to go with a lithium battery setup or a regular battery .... if you go with lithium.... you will need a electronic speed control designed for lithium battery.... There are recommended flight packs on gws.com/tw
